Aim and Scope

Sociological Studies of Youth Journal (A Quarterly with ISSN:2476-5198) aims to provide a platform for researchers and practitioners to present new research and developments in the area. Sociological Studies of Youth is a peer reviewed open access journal and is the only journal in the field of youth sociology in Iran. Papers published in this quarterly will receive very high publicity and acquire very high reputation. The journal covers high quality research oriented articles in English. Paper reviewing process and publication are free of any charges. Our fast reviewing process and open accessibility support the authors and provide a perfect opportunity to share their studies. Areas of interest for this special journal issue include, but are not limited to, the following topics:


  • A focus on contemporary changes to social life especially for the youth
  • A key theme of technology and society
  • An emphasis upon transferable research skills
  • Study within the innovative Faculty of Arts, Business  and Applied Social Sciences with a strong research tradition in youth studies
  • A national and international focus on Youth Problems in the world
  • Classical and contemporary sociological debates in areas such as globalization, social stratification, gender and sexuality, technology, and sociological theory, marriage of youth, the youth's deviation causes and remedies, etc.
